Field trip to HCC

On February 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 30 ARHS students took a field trip to Holyoke Community College. The event was free to the students.
The group rode a school bus to the campus where they went on a tour, visited a classroom, and learned about what it is like to attend HCC.
They were served a free lunch afterwards.
They also met the president of the district that handles students with disabilities.
Senior Sasha Young said that while she wished she could have talked directly to some of the college students to ask them more questions, that she got a lot out of the college visit.
“Overall, I think it was a really positive event, really productive,” said Young.
